Eastleigh Ticket office has been shut for some days due to "technical problems" over and above long term staff sickness.
I have travelled through there three times in the last week and I haven't seen a single Ticket Inspector who could sell tickets not available on the machines. ( Also many people don't like using ticket machines.) All credit to the booking clerk on duty (Sue??) who has been helping people with the ticket machines and travel enquiries.
Why hasn't someone detailed a group of TTI's to go there and cover manual ticket sales.
If the business is short of money, this is just one example of not trying to find a solution...
