Due to a passenger being taken ill on a train earlier today between Surbiton and Clapham Junction trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. Train services may be delayed or changed.
Are you having a laugh?? ONE passenger is taken ill and you have to screw the system up?? what's the thinking ( and I use the word loosely) behind this?
Also the cause is not related to the effect. Trains delayed as a result due to congestion I can understand.
Maybe the speed reduction is to try and average out journey times to avoid congestion?
To be fair to them, I don't think the rails have enough capacity for any sort of bypass if a train has to be held up.
