Who decides on the number of carriages? Because whoever they are they need either sacking or tutoring. 3 carriages for the 19:26 to Exeter = overcrowding to point very few could get on at Clapham!

  • The thing is they are chronically short of diesel coaches for the Exeter line, and anything after 1900 from waterloo is not classed as a peak service, so therefore is in a difficult position, as many of the diesel coaches will be in use on peak time services from Waterloo; by 1926 they will be too far from London to work back.
