The "See it, say it, sorted" announcements on your trains appear to be incorrect; they sound like "See it, say it, sort it", which implies that people are expected to "sort it" themselves which I don't think is the idea of the campaign.
Still goes on and drives us all insane....never apologise for the train being late overcrowded etc but always its see it say it....etc.
I'd love to know how many people have actually reported anything in the months since this has been running, SWR does now seem to have a marginally less annoying voice making these announcements, which is an improvement, I suppose. It's just a pity they aren't so keen to have an announcement about why your train is 15 minutes late when you're standing on a icy platform at 7am
Hi Sarah, announcements are made when service meets our 'Passenger Information During Disruption' criteria. Please see here for our local plan - www.southwesternrailway.com/.../pidd
I can assure you that announcements about why my train is late are non-existent. If we are very, VERY lucky we might get an update from one of the station staff, but that happens about as often as snow in July.
I am sorry to hear this, may I ask what station this is in reference to so I can get this looked into?
