I have just found out that there are engineering works on the Hounslow loop over the entire Easter period with no train services running through Isleworth and Brentford. SWT used to give advance publicity for disruptions such as this on the station noticeboards. Why can't SWR do the same ? I don't suppose NR could also use this as an opportunity to remove lineside graffiti on and around the platforms ?
Hi Isleworthian, these works have been publicised on our website for many weeks and on our social media and at stations through announcements and posters at least 7 days in advance of the planned works. Email notification of the works have also been sent to anyone that has signed up for them. https://www.southwesternrailway.com/plan-my-journey/planned-improvements/march-works
Sorry for any inconvenience this will cause to your journey.
Hi Matt. I have been canvassing the views of fellow commuters and none of us have heard any announcements about the Easter disruption on the station Tannoys
Hi, I have just checked our system and an announcement referring to engineering works over the Easter weekend is playing at every station every 15 mins. The sound clip attached is playing at Isleworth and Brentford.
Simple to browse through and also it is full of many facts. Everything is on place. Would you wish to look at my web site? bloons tower defense 5
