Due to the wide spread problems caused by trees on the track and circuit failures at Clapham Junction, I had to submit 3 claims for this morning. I had to follow the same tedious procedure of inputting name, address, phone, train times, ticket type, upload of ticket etc. each time. This really shouldn't be necessary.
You already have my personal details as I've had to submit numerous claims since you took over from SWT. I have received a tiny amount of compensation for some but others from December have still not been dealt with.
This system needs to be radically improved.
Hi, by the end of this month we will be rolling out a "my account" section for delay repay that saves filling in all your personal details and allows you to track current claims. I'm sorry I appreciate the current system is not exactly user friendly.
Thanks for upgrading the system somewhat. But it still doesn't save filling in all personal details like you said. I still have to:
- upload my photocard photo
- enter its number
- select the type of ticket
- and the class of ticket
- and enter its price. (This last one is extra-pointless because SWR definitely knows the price, even if they've forgotten which type of ticket is on my photocard).
Can't the system be improved to store those details too, at least for season ticket holders. It seems like it's unnecessarily tedious just to deter people from claiming.
